International Admissions
We welcome international students from around the world to our North York campus. Here’s what the admissions process looks like, from application to arrival.
Our International Admissions team is here to guide your family through every step, from your first application to your first day of class. Reach us at international@aahs.ca, or by WeChat at nicole1200.
The International Admissions Process
Application Submission
Submit a completed and signed application, translated transcripts covering the current year and the prior 2–3 years, a photocopy of your passport or birth certificate, a Custodianship Declaration, a Notarized Parent and Custodian Form, and the $200 CAD non-refundable application fee (add $20 for wire transfers). Once received, we’ll issue a tuition invoice, followed by an Official Letter of Acceptance once payment and documents are complete. An assessment test is required once your study permit is approved.
Acceptance & Fees
Tuition can be paid by certified cheque, money order, or bank draft. Your Official Letter of Acceptance is issued once payment and all required documents are received.
Study Permit Application
Submit your Letter of Acceptance and custodianship documents to the Canadian Embassy or Consulate to apply for your study permit.
Pre-Arrival
Book your flight 2–3 weeks before classes begin and send us your arrival details. You’ll also need mandatory health insurance, which runs approximately $800 CAD per year.
Arrival
Report to our Admissions office with your study permit, passport, and transcript. You’ll receive your registration package, placement assessment date, health insurance package, and help selecting your courses.
