Challenge Your Mathematical Potential

At Ace Acumen Heights, students can extend their mathematical learning beyond the classroom through challenging and internationally recognized mathematics competitions. These contests encourage creative thinking, logical reasoning, perseverance, and advanced problem-solving skills.

AAH offers opportunities to participate in mathematics contests organized by the University of Waterloo’s Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC), as well as the Mathematical Association of America’s American Mathematics Competitions (AMC). As an authorized AMC competition centre, AAH provides students with the opportunity to write these competitions in a supervised school environment.

Whether students are experienced competitors or exploring their first contest, our goal is to help them challenge themselves, build confidence, and discover the enjoyment of solving problems in new ways.

University of Waterloo Mathematics Contests

Develop problem-solving skills through some of Canada’s best-known mathematics competitions from the University of Waterloo’s Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC) — including Gauss, Pascal, Cayley, Fermat, and Euclid. Strong performances can help with admissions and scholarship eligibility, especially for students pursuing STEM, engineering, and mathematics.

American Mathematics Competitions (AMC)

Take your problem-solving skills to an international stage. The MAA American Mathematics Competitions (AMC 8, AMC 10, AMC 12) challenge students to think beyond routine classroom mathematics and develop creative approaches to mathematical problem-solving. AAH is an authorized AMC competition centre.
