Beyond Acumen Enrichment

Beyond Acumen gives students room to pursue independent projects, mentorship, and community-partnered initiatives alongside their regular coursework — building the kind of portfolio that stands out in university applications.

Each term, students choose a focus area — leadership, research, or a community-partnered project — and work with a faculty mentor to define goals, milestones, and a final presentation or deliverable.

Past projects have ranged from independent research papers to student-led initiatives with local community organizations, giving students real experience managing a project from idea to completion.

The program runs alongside the regular timetable and is open to students in Grades 9 through 12 looking to build skills and experience beyond the standard curriculum.
